VS Code

Installed on delta.cs.uwindsor.ca. It will work from home using NoMachine or from any labs. you can install extensions under your own user account.

How to use please look at the picture below.

From Windows or Mac
  • Launch VS Code and click on the "Open Remote Window" icon from the lower left corner.

  • Click on "Connect to Host"

  • Choose "Add New SSH Host"

  • type your username and hostname as username@hostname. (e.g: azakaria@delta.cs.uwindsor.ca)

  • Select which file you want to use to save the new added hostname (hit enter)

  • Click on "Connect"

  • Choose "Linux"

  • Type in your password

  • Click on "Open Folder"

  • Click on "OK"

  • It may ask you again to select the platform type (Linux) and type in the password
  • Trust the authors
